Music Psychotherapy

gives us the opportunity to connect more deeply to ourselves and each other. Using a range of techniques, music can provide a safe space to explore difficult emotions, create another layer of communication, and motivate development — psychologically, physically, and spiritually.

Practice

My private practice focuses on developing awareness and understanding of thought patterns that can impact the grief and anxiety we carry daily. I am a trauma-informed therapist and have completed a post-masters certificate in the Arts and Trauma Treatment through the Kint Institute.

At the Nordoff-Robbins Center, I work with typical and neurodiverse clients in individual and group settings and design specialized, long-term goals for each client using musical interaction.

As a trainee in Analytical Music Therapy, I believe that music combined with verbal expression can unlock our unconscious and transform thought processes into healthy frameworks.

Engagement and Projects

I create projects using music to foster creativity, enhance relationships, and empower communities, particularly those affected by grief and domestic violence.
